Class Policies
You must register in advance for all classes with a 50% non-refundable deposit. A deposit may be credited only if you cancel two weeks prior to start of class. There are no make-ups for missed classes.
Any classes cancelled due to weathe
or emergency will be rescheduled.
A materials list will be provided prior to start of class. CLASS PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE MATERIALS.

Sock Knitter's Club
Thursdays 7-9pm Sept. 23, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, Dec. 16
Join some fellow sock-knitters and share the love of SOCKS! Together we will explore some interesting techniques and try some fun designs. A sock will be featured in September/October and a different one in November/December. You can also just come for the fun and the camaraderie and continue on your own current sock project! There is no charge for this class, but please sign up in advance so that we know how many to expect!

Knitter's Anonymous
Tuesdays 9-10am starting in September Are you stuck on your pattern? Did you drop a stitch? Make a mistake? Just need a little hand-holding? Drop in for the help that you need! Fee is $5. It is helpful if you call ahead, but not necessary. |
Crocheted "All Shawl"
Thurs. 6:30-8pm, Sept. 30, Oct. 7 & 14, $36
This shawl uses light to medium weight yarn and has a rounded shape with open fronts. It is also long enough to toss over your shoulder. It's a very wearable shawl that clings nicely to the shoulders. Good for a beginner lace project, but you do need to have basic crochet skills.

Tamarix Quilt
Sat. 8:30-10am, Oct. 16, 23, Nov. 20 & Dec. 4, $48
This carriage-size baby blanket is made with garter stitch itered squares and uses different techniques to seam the squares together while creating the effect of a quilt. You can create many different looks depending on color placement and variety. Once you learn how to make the squares, you will find lots of fun projects to make with them!

Brattleboro Hat
Thursdays 7-9pm Sept. 30, Oct. 14 & 21 $36 This cute hat is knitted in two directions - the base is knitted side to side with a button tab (great project to use a couple of special buttons!) and then stitches are picked up to form the crown. It is featured in the book New England Knits and also in Interweave Knits Fall 2010. |
Bella's Mittens 
Sat. 10:30-Noon, Oct. 9, 16 & 23, $36
Knit the mittens that Bella worn in the Twilight movie. These snuggly mittens have a nice long cuff up the arm with a easy cable pattern and are made in chunky weight yarn.

Little Knitted Bear
Wed. 5-6:30pm, Oct. 13 & 20, $12
This favorite little bear uses a double-knitting technique to make the body and needs very little finishing. The size of the bear is determined by the weight of the yarn used. We are also going to try it as a rabbit and see how that comes out!
