Community Knitting:

Please consider knitting or crocheting a square to donate to Warm Up America!  The Warm Up America Foundation collects knit and crochet squares and/or afghans to help those in need.  The squares need to be 7 inches by 9 inches and can be any pattern of your choice.  If you would like to make a completed afghan, choose your favorite pattern and length.  Knitted squares and afghans can be dropped off at the shop until December 1st.  If you are interested in more information about Warm Up America! the website is www.warmupamerica.com. We still have a few bears at the shop that need to be adopted and dressed.  The home for these bears will be Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.  Stop in and inquire about adopting a bear today. (It costs $6 to adopt a bear. We can give you yarn to knit an outfit if you need it.) Stay tuned for another bear project later!
